At Destiny Alpacas our barn is powered by clean solar energy power using
a grid tied system. Our system is designed to cover all our power needs and any excess energy goes to our
electric coop. We travel around the farm in our electric golf cart. The golf cart, which
is powered using the solar power we generate, helps in the collection of the alpaca poop. Our alpacas produce
an excellent natural fertilizer. What we don’t use on the farm is used by local organic gardeners.
